The decisions taken at the first meeting of the BDKK on 20 November 2025 have been approved by the Senate.
The first meeting of the Scientific Journals Coordination Board (SJCB) was held on 20 November 2025. The decisions taken during Meeting No. 2025/01 were reviewed at the University Executive Board Meeting No. 2025/14 on 03 December 2025 and approved by the Senate. Accordingly, several important regulations concerning the six scientific journals published under İstanbul Gelişim University have been put into effect.
These regulations apply to the following six academic journals:

Istanbul Gelisim University Journal of Health Sciences (IGUSABDER)
International Journal of Engineering Technologies (IJET)
Journal of Sustainable Economics and Management Studies (ECOMAN)

InnovatioSports Journal: Journal of Sports Sciences and Innovative Research
Approved Regulations
1. Reviewer Compensation Regulation
It has been approved that reviewers who complete their evaluation within 15 days will be paid a fee of 750 TL.
2. Reviewer Suggestion Request
During the manuscript submission process, authors will be required to provide at least three reviewer suggestions from outside the institution.
3. Update of the Publication Language of IGUSBD
It has been decided that the publication language of the Istanbul Gelisim University Journal of Social Sciences (IGUSBD) will be entirely English.
With these decisions, it is aimed to strengthen the alignment of the journals' publication processes with international standards and to enhance the efficiency of the evaluation procedures.
